by teen volunteers and researchers over the year

Student Volunteer
Recoverease is a patient-advocacy non-profit organization by teens for teens. Our mission is to be the all-in-one resource for teens & kids recovering from life-changing trauma and medical conditions. We want to bring forth a change in the recovery process by providing teens with the resources that are essential for a full recovery by establishing a group of teen volunteers to provide a system of support and advice for teens, facilitating their recovery.
Naitonal Speech and Debate Association
Captain
Captain of the National Speech and Debate Association chapter at Bridgeland High School. I
have competed in a variety of events including Lincoln Douglas Debate (LD), Public Forum
Debate (PF), Congressional Debate, and Extemporaneous Speaking. I have won 1st place in many
tournaments including the Texas Forensics League Tournament at Cypress Fall High School,
competed on a higher level at the Texas Courthouse located in Downtown Houston, and even
served as a judge for multiple debate tournaments. As the captain of the debate team, I
managed to do the following:
- Led the school debate team in competitions and training sessions
- Organized the weekly meetings and practices, increasing student membership by
more than 900%
- Developed debate strategies and mentored team members
- Represented the team in TFA and NSDA tournaments
